YouTube testing video downloads feature for premium subscribers

The online video platform YouTube is testing a new feature for their premium subscribers to download videos on desktop web browser.

The new feature is currently being tested until October 19, reported by The Hindu newspaper.

The feature can be run on computers with the latest version of Chrome, Edge, or Opera browsers.

To download a video, users have to click the ‘download’ button while watching or click on the 3-dot menu while browsing.

Once the video is downloaded, users can access the videos on their downloads feed, which can be seen via sidebar navigation.

The new feature has been quite different from the video file third-party websites that give to store on the hard drive.

The feature is only available to the video-streaming platform’s premium subscribers.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious.
