Actors Minka Kelly, Dominic Fike, and musical artist Demetrius ‘Lil Meech’ Flenory Jr are set to star in the second season of the acclaimed HBO series ‘Euphoria’.
The series revolved around a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship. Based on a 2012 Israeli miniseries of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.
According to Variety, the series will premiere late 2021 or early 2022, as the makers began filming again for season 2. The series also stars Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Sydney Sweeney, Eric Dane, and Algee Smith.
Fike told Variety his character is a “homie” who hangs out with Rue and Jules, played by Zendaya and Schafer.
Lil Meech, who is all set to make his acting debut with the series, also described his character as a ‘degenerate’ who reminds him of his younger self.
The series is directed by Augustine Frizzell and written by Sam Levinson.
