Get ready for an electrifying weekend as Colors Tamil, the youngest Tamil GEC, brings to screen the two world TV premiere movies – ‘Anna Mariya’ and ‘Rajavakku Check’– as part of its highly popular Sunday Cine Combo.
As per the company’s press release, ‘Ann Mariya’, a 2016 film directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, boasts of an ensemble cast, featuring Sara Arjun, Sunny Wayne, and Aju Varghese in lead roles. Dubbed into Tamil, which narrates the story of a 10-year-old Annmariya (played by Sara Arjun) and her friendship with a con-artist Girish (played by Sunny Wayne) who is hired to teach her PT master a lesson. The impact they have on each other’s lives forms are the rest of the story.
The movie also has Dulquer Salmaan in a cameo appearance.
Whereas,‘Rajavakku Check’, on the other hand, is an edge-of-the-seat thriller directed by Sai Rajakumar. The revenge drama story revolves around a policeman and four criminals who kidnap the former’s daughter out of vengeance for putting them in prison. The quest of the policeman to rescue his daughter forms the central narrative.
The ensemble cast includes Cheran, Irfan in lead roles with Srushti Dange, Sarayu Mohan and Nandhana Varma as supporting characters.
The two blockbuster films, with Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology, Thanjavur, as Special Partner, will be aired on SAugust 8, 2021 at 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm.
