HYBE, the South Korean entertainment company behind global K-pop acts and the Weverse fan platform, yesterday announced that it is bringing the flagship global music festival Weverse Con Festival to India in March 2027.
According to a PTI report from Mumbai yesterday, the two-day event, which will be held in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, will mark the festival’s first edition outside South Korea.
It will bring together Indian and K-pop artists, with live performances, fan engagement activities, brand activations and cultural experiences built around the connection between artists and their fan communities.
The festival will feature a diverse line-up of Indian and K-pop artists, along with special collaboration stages bringing artists and cultures together.
Inspired by the fan experiences on Weverse, HYBE’s global superfan platform, the India edition will combine live music with interactive experiences and opportunities for fans to engage with artists and fellow fans.
“Weverse Con Festival India marks a new chapter in our ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy and reflects our commitment to India as a key market in HYBE’s global growth,” HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee said.
“By bringing HYBE’s global capabilities together with India’s creativity, we aim to create a festival that expands our ecosystem through experiences that resonate with local audiences,” he added.
Zooil Yang, president of Weverse Company, said they are thrilled to join HYBE to deliver Weverse Con Festival to one of the world’s most vibrant K-pop fan communities.
“As a global superfan platform, Weverse serves as the leading hub connecting artists and fans around the world.
“Through the festival, we are excited to extend our innovative services and fan experiences beyond the screen and into a live setting, seamlessly integrating the online and offline worlds of fandom,” Yang said.
Tickets will be available exclusively on BookMyShow in India.
