CNN will host the Asia edition of its ‘Global Perspectives’ event in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 14, 2026. The one-day event will bring together world leaders, CEOs and visionaries for discussions on ideas and decisions shaping global transformation.

According to a CNN press release,the event will explore themes including trade alliances, innovative technology, international business and culture. The discussions will be led by CNN journalists, with editorial content and news-making interviews from the event to be featured across CNN platforms.

CNN has added several new speakers to the programme. They include Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries; Anthony Tan, Group CEO and Co-Founder of Grab; Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO of Salesforce, South Asia; Bo Li, Deputy Managing Director of the IMF; Jane Sun, CEO of Trip.com Group; Kiran Mani, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at OpenAI; Malobika Banerji, Vice President of Content for Southeast Asia at Netflix; and Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization.

The conversations will be moderated by CNN journalists including Dr Sanjay Gupta, Richard Quest, Kristie Lu Stout, Will Ripley and Hanako Montgomery. They will discuss key issues affecting international business, policy and economic development.

JFOODO, Bank of America, Siam Piwat Group, Tencent, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau have joined B.Grimm and Dangote as event sponsors. The sponsors will have branding and activation opportunities at the event, along with promotional and advertising alignment with Global Perspectives content on CNN platforms.

The event will be hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok. It will be an invitation-only gathering for international decision-makers and leaders from sectors including technology, finance, investment, trade, geopolitics, healthcare, media and entertainment. CNN said further details about the speakers and programme will be announced later.
