‘Mirzapur: The Movie’, starring Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Pankaj Tripathi, has crossed Rs 150 crore at the domestic box office.
The film was released in theatres on September 4 and marks the first big screen outing for the popular ‘Mirzapur’ franchise. The franchise began as a streaming series in 2018 and went on to become one of India’s most successful OTT franchises with three seasons.
According to a PTI report from New Delhi today, the film earned Rs 30.90 crore on its opening day. Its box office collection increased over the weekend, with the film earning Rs 38.40 crore on Saturday and Rs 43.05 crore on Sunday.
With its strong weekend performance, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. The film continued to attract audiences after the opening weekend.The movie has now collected Rs 150.32 crore gross at the domestic box office.
