Danny Ramirez joins Universal Pictures’ ‘Miami Vice ’85’ cast

Actor Danny Ramirez has joined the cast of Universal Pictures’ upcoming film ‘Miami Vice ’85’. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film will star Ramirez alongside Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler.Ramirez is the latest actor to join the project.

According to a PTI report from Los Angeles, ‘Miami Vice ’85’ is set in Miami during the mid-1980s and will focus on the city’s glamorous lifestyle as well as the corruption behind it.

The film will offer a new take on the popular ‘Miami Vice’ franchise. The movie is inspired by the pilot episode of the original ‘Miami Vice’ television series.

The series, produced by Universal Television, became a major part of pop culture and was known for its stylish fashion, music and distinctive visual look.

With Joseph Kosinski directing and a cast that includes Michael B. Jordan, Austin Butler and now Danny Ramirez, the upcoming film is expected to bring a fresh cinematic version of the iconic ‘Miami Vice’ world to audiences.
