Comic Con India to be held in Vizag on Oct 10-11

Comic Con India will start its 2026-27 season in Visakhapatnam (Vizag) on October 10 and 11 and will mark the event’s first edition in the city.

According to a Comic Con India press release, the Vizag edition will bring together comic book fans, gamers, anime lovers, cosplayers and other pop culture enthusiasts.

Fans can expect international guests, cosplay showcases, interactive sessions, live music, stand-up comedy, exclusive launches and fan zones.

Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, said Vizag has a growing anime, cosplay and student community and is emerging as a pop culture hub.

The event will also bring local cultural influences together with newer forms of entertainment.

Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, said taking Comic Con to new cities will help make pop culture experiences more accessible to fans across India.

The previous Comic Con India seasons travelled across 11 cities and attracted more than 3.5 lakh attendees. The 2026–27 season will continue the event’s expansion across the country.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
