Prime Video has announced that its upcoming Hindi Original series ‘The Revolutionaries’ will premiere worldwide on September 11, 2026.
According to an Amazon official announcement today,the period drama is created and directed by filmmaker Nikkhil Advani and is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment.
Inspired by true events, the series is based on author Sanjeev Sanyal’s bestseller ‘Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom’. It focuses on the lesser-known heroes who played a role in India’s fight for independence.
The story follows four young revolutionaries Rash Behari Bose, Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Lahiri and Bagha Jatin as they take on the British Empire. The series explores their courage, sacrifices, friendships, betrayals and the difficult choices they make during the freedom struggle.
Bhuvan Bam plays Rash Behari Bose, Rohit Saraf portrays Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Ranta plays Pratibha Lahiri and Gurfateh Pirzada stars as Bagha Jatin. Jason Shah, Paoli Dam and Tota Roy Chowdhury are also part of the cast in key roles.
The series is written by Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, Akshita Wadhwana, Shobhit Narang and Rutvi Mehta.‘The Revolutionaries’ will stream exclusively on Prime Video in Hindi, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.
It will also feature English and several international-language subtitles and will be available in India and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Nikkhil Advani said the series aims to highlight the stories of lesser-known heroes of pre-independence India. He described it as a character-driven action drama exploring rebellion, sacrifice, friendship and freedom through a cinematic approach.
