Sony LIV begins production on ‘Scam 2010’, Siddhant Bodke to lead

Sony LIV has announced that production has begun on ‘Scam 2010’, the third instalment in its popular ‘Scam’ franchise, with actor Siddhant Bodke set to play the lead role.

According to a PTI report from Mumbai,directed by filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the series is produced by Birla Studios and Applause Entertainment. It will explore the rise and fall of a major financial empire.

The third chapter was announced in 2024 as ‘Scam 2010 – The Subrata Roy Saga’. The series will tell the story of Subrata Roy, the founder of Sahara India, and trace his journey from his early days to the rise of his business empire.

The upcoming series marks the return of Mehta to the franchise, which previously featured ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ and ‘Scam 2003: The Telgi Story’. Further details about the release date and other cast members are yet to be announced by Sony LIV.
