Disney D23 fan event kicks off Aug 14 with big entertainment slate

The three-day D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is all set to come to viewers at home, with several panels and special presentations set to stream on Disney+ from August 14-16.

According to a Disney press release, the event will feature live streams of selected panels, including the 35th anniversary celebration of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, the Season 3 panel of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’, the ‘Disney Rewind Encore Concert’ and the ‘Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase’.

The ‘Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration’ will begin streaming on August 16, while the ‘Disney Legends Awards Ceremony’ will also stream on Disney+ the same day.

Along with the streaming lineup, Disney+ and Hulu will offer an immersive experience at the Anaheim Convention Center in the US. Fans can enjoy a 4D theatre, photo opportunities, collectibles and merchandise inspired by popular shows and films.

Disney+ subscribers will also get special perks, including limited-edition digital and physical collectibles and other offers during the event.

Each day at the Honda Center in the US, fans will experience never-ending surprise and delight moments, performances, and announcements, as well as sneak peeks at the incredible films, shows, attractions, experiences, and more coming from Disney’s creative powerhouses and groundbreaking innovators.

Neil Patrick Harris, host of Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase will not only dwell on stories shaping the future of Disney Experiences around the world, but this year will take fans deeper into the creative vision behind what’s to come as fans will hear directly from the imagineers, storytellers, artists, and innovators bringing these experiences to life.

Inspired by the Carousel of Progress, Harris will guide the show and lead engaging conversations with the people creating the future of Disney Experiences.

This year’s Legends honourees include Chris Berman, Jerry Bruckheimer, Susan Egan, Eric Goldberg, , Anne Hathaway, former Disney CEIO Bob Iger, Kim Irvine, Dwayne Johnson, the Jonas Brothers and Alan Tudyk.

Amazing and grim battle for survival. Guess it will end up in Supreme Court. All that NCLT asked Zee to do was to file a reply to Invesco petition for a EGM. Now this is getting too serious. So far Invesco has been hammered for demanding an EGM. What is Zee upto? Ofcourse my lawyer community knows better!
