Tamil superstar Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Jana Nayagan’ is set to release in theatres on July 23, 2026, after a delay of nearly six months. The film is being considered as Vijay’s final film as an actor before he focuses on his political career.
According to an UNI report, the film was initially planned for a release earlier but was postponed due to various reasons, including certification related delays.
After overcoming the hurdles, the makers have now confirmed the new release date.
Directed by H. Vinoth, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is an action drama featuring Vijay in the lead role. The film also stars Pooja Hegde along with other actors in key roles.
The film has generated strong buzz among fans as it marks a significant milestone in Vijay’s career. With a mix of action, drama, and political themes, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is expected to be one of the major Tamil film releases of 2026.
