Marvel Studios is developing a new ‘Nova’ feature film, with Michael Waldron attached to write the screenplay. Waldron is known for writing ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and creating the Disney hit series ‘Loki’.
According to a PTI report, the project is currently in the early stages of development. If everything moves ahead as planned, Waldron is also expected to direct the film.
Marvel had originally planned ‘Nova’ as a Disney television series with writer Sabir Pirzada. However, the project was put on hold in 2025 before the studio decided to revive it as a feature film instead.
While Marvel has not revealed any details about the cast, storyline or release date, the film marks another expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). More updates are expected as development progresses.
