Actor Raveena Tandon is celebrating 25 years of her critically acclaimed film ‘Aks’. Marking the milestone, she shared an emotional note on social media and said that her character, Neeta, will always hold a special place in her heart.
Sharing stills from the film, according to an ANI report, Raveena wrote that it feels surreal that ‘Aks’ has completed 25 years.
She said she is grateful that both the film and her character are still remembered and loved by audiences even today.
The actor added that ‘Aks’ was a very special journey in her career and the memories from the film will stay with her forever. Released in 2001, ‘Aks’ was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and starred Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee and Raveena in key roles.
The psychological thriller received praise for its unique storyline and performances, with Raveena earning a Filmfare Special Performance Award for her role as Neeta.
