Warner Bros. India has announced that its upcoming mystery thriller ‘The End of Oak Street’, starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, will release in theatres across India on August 14.
According to a PTI report, the film will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, and will also be available in IMAX. The multilingual release aims to make the film accessible to audiences across the country.
Along with the release date announcement, the studio unveiled five new character posters introducing the main members of the Platt family. Anne Hathaway plays Denise Platt, while Ewan McGregor stars as Greg Platt. The cast also includes Maisy Stella as Audrey Platt, Christian Convery as Brian Platt, and the family’s pet dog, Starbuck.
The newly released posters hint at a story centred on the Platt family, whose normal lives are disrupted by a series of strange and unexplained events. Although Warner Bros. has not revealed the full plot, the film promises a mix of mystery, suspense, and psychological drama as the family tries to understand the unusual incidents happening around them.
With academy award winner Anne Hathaway and golden globe winning actor Ewan McGregor leading the cast, the film is expected to attract fans of suspense thrillers. The latest character posters have also created excitement by giving audiences a first look at the key characters before the film’s theatrical release.
‘The End of Oak Street’ will arrive in Indian cinemas on August 14, just ahead of the Independence Day holiday weekend, and is expected to be one of the major Hollywood releases of the month.
