As India gets ready for Union Budget 2022-23 as a more matured and resilient economy than ever before, ET NOW, India’s leading English Business News channel and ET NOW Swadesh, Hindi Business News Channel, has announced exclusive budget-day programming under the theme, Mission Growth: Budget 2022’. The shows will commence from 7:00 am on February 01, 2022.
The channel will leverage technology and AR graphics to present a simplified budget analysis.
The live coverage will commence with the finance minister’s speech followed by an in-depth analysis of budget 2022-23 by ET Now and ET Now Swadesh managing director Nikunj Dalmia.
This will be followed by an exclusive segment with Indian economist, journalist and columnist Swaminathan Aiyar, the channel said.
A panel of experts including Vibha Padalkar MD & CEO, HDFC Life; Ashok Tyagi, Whole Time Director and CEO, DLF; Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director (Auto & Farm Sectors), M&M; Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, MD & CEO, Fortis Healthcare; Rajnish Kumar, Former Chairman, SBI will analyse the Budget.
The channels are also running a slew of digital and on-air short format video content that will simplify the Union Budget for the viewers. Budget explainer, Aasaan Bhaasha Me will help viewers get a better sense of this year’s budget and inform them in-depth on the emerging points from the Budget and its effects. The segment will also offer a round-up on all Budget related important news.
‘Jayant Sir Ki Class’ is an exclusive show that features Former MoS, Finance, Jayant Sinha, who will explain concepts, terms & de-jargonise the budget for the viewers. The show will air on the channels and across the channels’ social media platforms
The channels have also announced an on-air contest, ‘Budget Master’ starting on February 01, 2022, where participants can enter the contest by watching the channels and answering simple questions asked every hour between 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and the selected 5 winners will be gratified with an iPhone, the channel said in a statement.
