Over the last few years, the art of cinema has evolved significantly to become content-driven, and the introduction of OTT platforms has transformed the entertainment landscape. News18 presents the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2023 to recognize exceptional talent in the Hindi entertainment industry.

This year’s edition of the prestigious awards ceremony, to be held on February 25 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai, will honor exceptional films from the Hindi film industry as well as web series, as well as the best cast and crew.

The award’s eminent jury includes notable personalities such as filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, director and screenwriter Sriram Raghavan, actress Divya Dutta, filmmaker, and writer Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary, and Tavishi Paitandy, Entertainment and Lifestyle Editor of News18.com.

This jury would choose the best in categories such as Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Debut (Male/Female), and Best Director.

As per a press release, ‘83’, ‘Shershaah’, ‘Mimi’, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘The Kashmir Files’, ‘Delhi Crime’, and ‘Family Man 2’ are among the films and web series up for awards in the Jury Awards and Popular Choice categories.

The latest edition of the News18 Showsha Reel Awards will bring together many icons on one stage such as Rajkummar Rao, Vidya Balan, Bhumi Pednekar, Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon, Sidharth Malhotra, Ayan Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Divya Dutta, Jasleen Royal, Manoj Bajpayee, Huma Qureshi, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vasan Bala, and many others.

News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2023, the grand celebration of Hindi films and web series is set to telecast on CNN News18 and News18 digital on 4th March at 9:30 pm.
