The  Cabel T.V. industry will be completely digitalised by 31st December , 2016 as the last phase of digital addressable system (DAS) has picked up a great pace. In most of the cities digital set up boxes have been installed & broadcasting signals are being received digitally

This observation was made by Dr. A.K. Rastogi, President of All India Aavishkar Dish Antenna Sangh & Chairman of Aavishkar Media Group, during his 12th Chetna Yatra by car. Dr. Rastogi has already completed eleven Chetna Yatra with the social & environmental causes like Global Warming, Green Broadcasting Plantation, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan & Go Green which  received tremendous appreciation by media & many Social organisations.

The 12th Chetna Yatra with the motto to spread the message of government of India to make India totally digitalised &' Padhega India- Badhega India' was flagged off on 5th Setember, 2016 from New Delhi which travelled through 400 cities, covered the distance of 25000Kms in 50 days.  It returned back to Delhi on 25th October, 2016

During his 12th Chetna Yatra Dr. A.K.Rastogi held meetings with Multi Service Operators (MSO) and last mile operators (LCO) to share their problems and disputes. He suggested them to solve their problems on their own ends and not to go to court of justice as TDSAT court is already overburdened with the cases.

Speaking in a Welcome function, held on his return to Delhi from Chetna Yatra, Dr. Rastogi pointed out that the digital technology will change the complete Scenario of Cable T.V. and broadcasting industry as the full transperancy would be observed & reception of the T.V. programmes would be more clear and number of channels would rise.
